Wine Economics

Données satellitaires, intelligence artificielle et régressions hédoniques au service de la modélisation des liens entre météo, qualité et prix des vins

This project aims to (i) develop a model for estimating the quality of individual wines using artificial intelligence, and (ii) determine the 'fair price' of fine wines when they are released on the market.

Project Description

The first aim of this project is to develop a model for estimating wine quality using artificial intelligence and satellite data. Unlike the usual meteorological data (which is only available at regional level), satellite data allows us to take into account the nuances between vineyards, and therefore to estimate quality with a high degree of accuracy.
The second objective is to develop a model for determining the 'fair price' of fine wines. This model is based on hedonic regression and uses a large database of secondary market prices.
