Project Description

The hotel industry and tourism in general play a very important role in the Franco-Swiss cross-border economy. The environmental, social and economic footprints associated with tourism and hotel activity and cross-border flows are therefore significant. The aim of the project was to develop a sustainable development action plan for the hotel industry that would give a strategic (value-creating) advantage to the activity in the cross-border context. This includes the definition of the current state, the development of an action plan as well as the implementation and testing in the hotel industry.
