Project Description

This project investigates the phenomenon of AI-generated text in higher education institutions (HEIs). For six months, we have questioned the consistency of AI-generated content. By using the same prompt repeatedly, we analyzed the output to gauge if the quality is the same with each new entry. There is no existing study to our knowledge that has attempted to test consistency and quality assurance in AI-generators. We hope to create a guide to help HEI stakeholders (particularly faculty and students) on the benefits and dangers of using AI in their work.
