Borzillo, S. designed, structured, and moderated the expert panel “Hospitality Meets Healthcare”, orchestrating a high-level dialogue among Elmhurst Hospital executives Dr. José Pagan (Chair of the Board of Directors of NYC Health + Hospitals), Dr. Helen Arteaga (CEO Elmhurst Hospital), Pierre Pham (Chief Experience Officer, Elmhurst Hospital), Donato Cipriano (Chief HR Officer, Elmhurst Hospital) and Abigail Campos (Head of Strategy & Hospitality, Elmhurst Hospitality). The panel formed a core component of the One Day with Elmhurst event at EHL Hospitality Business School on October 28.

Hasman, A. invited Pascal Meinherz (General Manager at Goldman Sachs Bank AG) and Julia Hartweg (Financial Analyst at Goldman Sachs) to give a seminal talk for our Corporate Finance students at the EHL.

Martin-Rios, C. and Rogenhofer, J. discussed the urgent global challenges at the intersection of sustainability, innovation, and tourism management during their invitation-only academic–industry workshop “Imagining the Future in Dark Times” held at EHL Hospitality Business School on November 6-7.

Yu Kerguignas, J. shared insights of her research on the challenges of the digitization of services as well as potential solutions for hospitality professionals during her “Technology service failures in the hospitality industry” event at EHL Hospitality Business School on October 31.
