EHL Hospitality Business School, Hitotsubashi University, & the National University of Singapore’s Institute of Real Estate and Urban Studies (IREUS) invite you to submit papers (or extended abstracts) to be considered for presentation at the 9th Hospitality Finance & Economics (HFE) Conference. The submitted papers may – but do not need to - display hospitality relevance.
9th Hospitality Finance & Economics (HFE) Conference
July 7th & 8th, 2025
Lausanne, Switzerland.
We invite the submission of empirical/experimental papers and well-crafted case studies. Authors are requested to submit papers that have not been previously published or accepted for publication in any journal. We particularly welcome contributions from Ph.D. students in the advanced stages of their studies. While we accept extended abstracts, please note that full paper submissions will be required several weeks before the conference day.
The conference seeks to highlight, though not exclusively, topics in the realms of real estate and finance, including but not limited to:
• Implications of demographic changes for real estate markets
• Property bubble
• Impacts of the high-interest rate regime on real estate markets
• Challenges and opportunities regarding the transition to net-zero
• Housing affordability
• ESG in investment, financing, development, and operations
• Data analytics & predictive modelling
• Impact of artificial intelligence on real estate markets
• Globalisation of the property market and international investment flows
