EHL Hospitality Business School is home to hundreds of amazing writers, from students to staff members, and of course, our faculty members. EHL professors are certainly the main contributors to our blog and our most well-known authors. Each month, we would like to showcase our EHL Research authors and introduce our great team members who also regularly contribute to EHL Insights. Today, let’s meet Romane Petit!

Romane Petit works as a Research Assistant at EHL Hospitality Business School, where her primary research interests revolve around sustainability, community-based tourism, social impact, and the environment. She is significantly involved in research projects that explore sustainability transition and the wine industry. Beyond her research role, Romane also contributes to social and environmental initiatives at EHL. She plays a part in the operations of the Sexual Harassment Prevention program and has provided guidance through coaching sessions to students participating in the Sustainability Hospitality Challenge semi-finals in Amsterdam.

Before immersing herself in academia, Romane gained experience in diverse settings, including Nepal and India. Her professional engagement focused on areas such as community empowerment and corporate social responsibility within the tourism and hospitality sector. Romane holds an MSc in Global Hospitality Business, which she pursued by spending semesters in Hong Kong and Houston.
