EHL professors are certainly the main contributors to our blog and our most well-known authors. Each month, we would like to showcase our EHL Research authors and introduce our great team members who also regularly contribute to EHL Insights. Today, let’s meet Andrew Brenner!
Andrew Brenner has worked at EHL Hospitality Business School as a translator for nearly a decade. His role encompasses translation, editing and the production of research-related content. At EHL, Andrew translates documents into English, or copy-edits documents already in English, for faculty and academic staff. His role has grown in recent months to include the curating of research-related content in collaboration with EHL faculty researchers for the new EHL microsite. In addition to blog posts for Hospitality Insights, Andrew has published articles in the New York Times travel and sports sections on various topics including an abandoned railway in Paris, hiking in Switzerland, the youth of Stan Wawrinka, and cross-country skiing in the Jura Mountains. He has worked as a translator for nearly 20 years in both finance and hospitality. He is a cross-country ski guide for the visually impaired and regularly volunteers for HelpUA, an NGO supporting Ukraine.
Before joining EHL, Andrew lived and worked in Paris where he pursued a master’s degree in translation. He worked for a financial translation agency for five years before moving to Switzerland. Originally from the United States, Andrew is delighted to use his language skills to contribute to EHL’s continued success the world over.
